UNICEF - tapproject.org

 UNICEF - tapproject.org

I like the concept of this campaign for good water that´s safe, I mean isn´t it a basic thing to have access to good safe water?! I am wondering if organisations like UNICEF are just red herrings, pacifiers, run by people who really want to help make a difference to people who have less than they do but controlled by people who don´t really give a damn. I believe as we live in this world constructed by those not of our kin or mind it is good to do what one can when one is able for those that are less but surely a time must come when even the slowest and most easily manipulated say "ENOUGH!" I believe attatchment forms part of the problem, being scared to let go, of things getting worse and that fear is manipulated by those that have more than they need. What can we do about it? Perhaps the key really does lie within us, "know thyself" I cannot stress enough the benefit of quiet reflection, if meditation seems too extreme discover what time the sunsets and stare at it and watch it set (it is possible to look at the sun 15 minutes before it disappears on the horizon without damaging your eyes google it;)) sit in a  garden or field and just be still, pay a kindness forward, give away and let things flow to you. If you give someone a smile usually they give you one back, or if not back to you maybe someone else; if you give someone some help with something you will find others willing to help you back; if you listen to others they are more likely to listen to you; if you give away 10-20% of your income it will....WHOOPS! look out, crazy talk!? not really, everything flows, look around you! Stop damming life up, yourself up, have a go, LET GO! Oh and watch those zeitgeist movies posted above (you can download them for free if you donot want actual copies) they are a good example of what could be possible if we really wanted to make a difference.
Good Waves for all, R
